“ My father-in-law took a nasty fall the first of June 2023 and my wife has been caring for him full-time since then. We live in Portland, Oregon so I come up to Longview once a month to give her a break from her dad, and him from her. His doctor's appointments require us to drive by Don Angel Taqueria and I'd been wondering about this place so today I stopped in for a quick lunch break and was happy I did. Don Angel has an extensive menu that includes breakfast along with many combination meals, and limited childrens options. You order at the service counter and they bring your meal to you. I ordered a couple of carnitas tacos 3 each and was served in a few minutes later. The tacos were topped with onions and green salsa on street size corn tortillas. Delicious! What set this place a part from the ones I've been to in most places is their salsa bar (dine in only). It's stocked with at least a dozen different toppings, salsas, pickled vegetables, and homemade hot sauces to make your order special. The staff's friendly, place spotless, quick service, food is very good and the prices are moderate. Hands down better than any "Mexican" food chain restaurant you'd find. I'll definitely be heading back for a torta or some tamales soon. ”
